I know I'm only 14 but yeah it's happened to me before some guy wanted me to sell rights to some of my OCs for a young children's board game I said no because I didn't want my characters to be used that way

(yeah I didn't want to see my OCs get plushed up for another guys wallet sure I was offered money but it wasn't enough either <5%>;)

(you know like those marvel toys for toddelers not the best design for them)

that and I had my own plans for them (waiting to find a good writer and also I think I'll need to improve a bit more too do do what I plan)

:fuzzydemon: yeah I'm planning on making a series and kselling rights when I already have plans isn't an option for my goal (even if it means a longer wait for any form of popularity as long as I can reach my goal I'm happy)

Um, did you get a contract from them before sending a hi-quality file?
Reply

I never did and luckily I hadn't sent them a file either.

Could you be more specific? First, the laws aren't the same depending on the country.
Selling your OC means you lose all and any rights regarding it. You can't use it anymore. Well, depending on the country you are there are nuances. Now is this what you are talking about? Are you selling the OC or the right to use it for something specific?
It doesn't strike me as the best of ideas.
